COMPETITION 2022 IS SOMETHING SPECIAL. IN TRUE ROTK FORM, DESPITE A 2 YEAR HIATUS DUE TO COVID, THE ROTK TOOK A HUGE WIN IN ORLANDO AND NOW THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY TO THE NATIONAL FINALS IN BRANSON, MISSOURI! A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BEST MALE VOCALIST, ALTON FINNEY-DENNIS
NATIONAL GRAND CHAMPIONS DON'T COME EASY
"WE ARE THE BEST" Is the ROTK mantra and that they are. The Uniondale High School Show Choir, Rhythm of the Knight, is the ONLY minority group to compete on the National level. They broke records when they won 3 consecutive Grand Championships including the National Finals in 2018. They showed us again in 2019 when they took home the Fame Orlando Grand Championship. And now after 2 years of Covid restrictions, the ROTK took home Best Male Vocalist in 2022. This exceptional group exemplifies all that makes Uniondale proud. They have represented the community with respect and dignity that reflects the greatness of our students. They define themselves as “a 9th period class that became a family”. This family has repeatedly surpassed all expectations. Not only with a display of amazing talent and honors level academics, but with respect, friendship, loyalty, unity, communal support for each other, unbelievable displays of sportsmanship, focus, hard work, perseverance and determination.... AND OF COURSE, ENDLESS FUNDRAISING!

Success is earned and the Rhythm of the Knight is the hardest working choir in the business. They have appeared everywhere from their many benefit concerts right here at UHS all the way to the NBC Today Show, Steve Harvey, Met Life Stadium for the NY Giants and even performing a live tribute to the great Ben Vereen just to name a few. Please support this hard working group of talented young people so they can continue to make the Uniondale community proud.
